Giuliana is thrilled to be joining the Mayamotion team! Currently pursuing a Master’s of Social Work at MSU Denver, she employs a strengths-based and healing-centered approach that celebrates individuals and their origins. Radical acceptance and self-awareness are two pillars that guide her practice, celebrating the unique aspects that define each person while embracing techniques, tools and practices that feel right for the individual client. Giuliana also incorporates somatic therapy techniques, assisting clients with exploring deep emotions experienced within the mind and body.

Giuliana understands the importance of identifying the social and cultural systems that shape our collective and individual experiences and is intentional about bringing these topics into the therapeutic space. Giuliana’s passion for supporting the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities is rooted in her own personal experiences. Born and raised in Peru, she is a first generation immigrant and also identifies as queer. Outside of work you can find her enjoying live music, attending music festivals, practicing hot yoga and spending time outside with her pup.
