Meet Raíces Vivas!

Our middle school youth program, Raíces Vivas focuses on supporting the psychological development, social/emotional learning, and leadership development of our Brown, Indigenous, Chicane/Latine, BIPOC youth and families within our community. Through bilingual mentorship and culturally-relevant, community-based curriculum development, we work to holistically support the needs of our youth, including the prevention of substance use, violence, and school drop-outs. The funds you contribute to this work will support our continued need for art and educational supplies, transportation assistance for community-engaged and pro-social field trips, and will help us to provide snacks and meals for our weekly programming.

This Colorado Gives Day supports the incredible youth of Raíces Vivas who are leading a campaign to fund a van, ensuring their peers have safe, reliable transportation to access transformative programming, engage with the community, and build a stronger future together!
